The Opportunity:

You’re invited to seize the opportunity as an Applications Engineer. Reporting to the Applications Engineering Team Leader, you'll play a vital role in supporting the sales team's growth and contributing to the success of their projects.

The Role:

As an Applications Engineer, you will:

• Elevate the sales team's effectiveness by providing quotes and delivering precise order information for customer services and manufacturing.
• Showcase your expertise in handling customer technical sales inquiries with finesse.
• Collaborate closely with the external sales team, offering valuable support to drive success.
• Swiftly respond to external sales inquiries, demonstrating your agility and responsiveness.
• Provide comprehensive order details to ensure seamless processes for customer services and manufacturing.
• Engage with third-party suppliers during the specification stage, fostering effective collaborations.

Skills/Experience:

To excel in this role, you should bring:

• Engineering knowledge at a minimum of HND or degree level.
• The ability to navigate and collaborate seamlessly with diverse groups within the dynamic landscape of a large manufacturing company.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, enabling you to overcome challenges and obstacles with ease.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration.
• Proactive initiative-taking capabilities, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing you to convey complex technical details with clarity and precision.
