Assistant Ecologist

Location: Oxford

Salary: £22,000 - £28,500

They are actively seeking an ambitious Assistant Ecologist to join their ever-growing team based in Oxford. Our client has grown rapidly and now provides a variety of services to clients. The successful Assistant Ecologist will work closely alongside the ecology team in and around Oxfordshire, assisting with protected species surveys.

Assistant Ecologist Position Overview

• Undertaking protected species surveys
• Building tenders and creating fee quotations (thorough training given)
• Producing technical reports (PEA and PRA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc (thorough training given)
• Managing small-medium sized projects, with support from senior management (thorough training given)

Assistant Position Requirements

• 1.5-2 years of industry experience
• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
• Hold a full UK driving license
• Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (CIEEM) is preferred

Assistant Ecologist Position Remuneration

• Competitive salary, ranging between £22,000 - £28,500 depending on experience
