Actio Engineering Recruitment are delighted to be assisting our Exhall based client with their search for a Logistics & Stores Person to support the Planning Manager.

Our client, are a forward thinking business who manufacture quality components for a variety of different industries including Aerospace and Defence.

The Role

• Ensure the goods in, stores and despatch area within the factory is run efficiently in order to provide a good reliable service to support the manufacturing process
• Operating mechanical handling equipment including counterbalance forklift truck and operating automatic Billet Saw to provide materials for machining
• Communicate with internal and external customers and suppliers to arrange deliveries
• Despatch, liaising with Planning Manager, for goods out, ensuring that all products are packed appropriately to prevent damage in transit and the image of the company is maintained and improved.
• Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote successful teamwork.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Previous stores experience preferably including quality control.  
• Goods in experience including booking in goods
• Able to use measuring equipment, verniers, micrometres
• PC Literate (basic knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel and Word

Shift

Monday to Thursday – 7:30am to 4:30pm
Friday – 7:30am to 12:30pm

Pay

Between £24,500 - £26,500 per annum

This is a Temporary to Permanent role
