CNC Miller/Turner & Programmer - Romsey - Salary: up to £41,000

An exciting opportunity has become available for a time served CNC Miller/Turner & Programmer to join a well-established and friendly business based in Romsey. The successful candidate will be able to work to written instructions, operate and program machines with minimal supervision, demonstrate initiative and help produce quality products.

The role of CNC Miller/Turner & Programmer is a permanent and full-time position based in Romsey. Our client offers a competitive annual salary of £37,000- £41,000 plus many benefits, including bonus scheme, 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, paid breaks, funded social events, and on-site parking.

They're looking for an experienced CNC Miller/Turner to manufacture mould tools, along with small batch runs of subcontract items in various materials such as plastics and various metals.

Main duties of the CNC Miller/  Turner & Programmer:

• Operate and program a 2018 DMG ECOTURN 450 machine with driven tooling controlled by a SIEMENS system
• DMG DMU 50 Ecoline
• 5 axis CNC Mill
• DMG EcoTurn 450
• CNC Mill/Turn Lathe

They also have AUTODESK Featurecam to aid with programming complex shapes, so experience here would be an advantage.

• Monitor machines performance and assess for any maintenance requirements
• Keep the machine in a clean and tidy condition

Key competences of the CNC Turner & Programmer:

• Previous experience as CNC Turner and ability to program machines
• Experience in AUTODESK Featurecam programming would be an advantage
• Flexible, hardworking individual with good attention to detail and a positive attitude
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
