AV Installation Engineer – Reading – Full Time - Up To £40,000 + Overtime Offered

About the Client: Our client offers a specialist service in creating impactful digital signage in retail, hospitality, and corporate environments, including Stadium LED displays, digital menu boards, bespoke retail displays, EOPS, and touch-point ordering. Due to recent expansion, our client is currently seeking a Senior AV Engineer to join their team based in Reading.

Position Overview:

• Location: Reading, with travel around the South of the UK.
• Overtime: Overtime rate at time and a third; weekend cover rate at time and a half.

Candidate Profile:

Essential Requirements:

• Experience within a similar role working to strict SLA’s.
• Experience installing AV Solutions such as screens and projectors in meeting rooms and classrooms.
• Knowledge of basic audio and signal transmission such as HDBaseT.
• Excellent communication skills, able to use initiative and professionalism.
• Have a working knowledge of digital signage and an understanding of networking and IP technology as well as other AV technologies.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Ability to commute to Reading daily.

Desirable Requirements:

• Control equipment installation (AMX/Crestron/SY/Extron/Kramer etc.)
• Rack building.
• Basic programming
• Survey & Specification
• SC Clearance highly desirable

Required Skills:

• Good PC knowledge
• Excellent IT skills and knowledge of networks.
• CSCS/ECS Card
