Engineering Manager - Permanent Staff - South East - Life Sciences

Our client is a true heavyweight in the engineering services field, supporting a vast array of clients and industry sectors from a network of nearly 100 global offices. Their South East operation acts as a European hub for their life sciences and new technologies division and some multi-£million project wins in this area have brought about a vacancy for an Engineering Manager.

Your task will be to act as a focal point for a portfolio of projects with values up to £100m across Europe - you will coordinate between projects and project teams ensuring engineering best practice, consistency in approach, quality, and offering your technical expertise.

You will bring to play your experience in EPCM delivery, especially across concept design, FEED and detail design, ensuring successful delivery of projects to the highest of standards, within budget and schedule. The potential for 'helicopter view' and strategic insight are a prerequisite, as well as the willingness to constantly learn and develop yourself.

To apply and be successful in this role, you'll be a degree qualified, preferably chartered engineer and you'll have significant experience in the life sciences sector. It may be that you are in a current discipline head or project management position and are looking for your next step, or perhaps you are an existing engineering manager, looking for a bigger platform to operate from or a more interesting mix of projects.
