Position:                     Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location:                     Oldbury

Reporting to:               Maintenance & Engineering Manager

Hours per week:         39.5

Shift patterns:             08:00 to 17:00 Mon-Thurs, 14:00 Fri

Annual salary:             £35,000 -£45,000

An Automotive Manufacturing company are now looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

Due to significant growth and organisational re-structuring our client now need to strengthen their maintenance and engineering team, which has brought about the following vacancy:

Maintenance Engineer – Job Role:

• Work within a PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) environment undertaking routine maintenance.  Reacting to breakdowns, fault-finding and repairing the machinery in a timely fashion.
• Working on Hyraulic & Pneumatic machinery, pumps, motors and impellors.
• Working on PLC’s and Control Pannels

The Ideal Maintenance Engineer will have come from the Automotive Industry and have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• Hold a C&G, HNC, or Hnd in Mechanical Engineering
• Ideally have an electrical qualification such as 18TH Edition.
• Mechanical & Electrical maintenance skills and experience
• Ability to read drawings (mechanical / electrical)
• Understanding of Pneumatics, Fluid logic
• Ability to fault find: pumps / motors / impellors
• Experience with PLC’s & Control Panels
