  • 3+ years of Aerospace or Mechanical engineering experience ideally directly pertaining to vehicle design or robotic systems, preferably in the UAV space.
  • Experience as a manager, team leader or a very strong individual contributor of high-performing Engineering teams with 3-to-10 (or more) personnel.
  • First-hand working knowledge of materials, tooling & fixtures, resin systems, precision machining, and manufacturing processes for composite structures.
  • CAD experience (SolidWorks), and adept use of hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment are necessities for this role.
  • Evidence of successful and novel designs created using rapid prototyping techniques.
  • Experience designing for a wide variety of production processes including but not limited to lathe, 3-6 axis machining, water jet, laser cut, punch, bending, welding, casting, and 3D.

The desire to: work within a fast-paced start-up environment that expects excellence and embraces diversity. Build teams and processes from the ground up. Get their hands dirty. See their aircraft go to market.

  • Experience developing parts and structures for weight-constrained applications.
