Water Hygiene / Water Treatment / Environmental Services - Remedial Plumber

Due to the continued growth of the business, we are currently looking to recruit 2 additional water hygiene technicians / remedial plumbers to join us at one of the UK's leading Water Treatment and Environmental Services groups.

You will be responsible for maintaining the Water Hygiene at a variety of sites, Predominantly based within Southwark, Lambeth and Tower Hamlets – Though jobs further afield may be required on occasion. Engineers are normally given an area that becomes their regular jurisdiction.

Some examples of the roles & responsibilities of the Water Hygiene / Water Treatment - Remedial Plumber role include, but are not limited to:

• To carry out remedial Water Treatment works to cold water storage tanks, closed systems and associated plant
• Pipework alterations
• Fault finding
• Tank surveys and cleans
• Leak repair
• TMV servicing
• Removing dead leg pipework
• Fixing various plumbing issues identified by Risk Assessment team

The ideal candidate would have:

• Advanced Plumbing qualifications and/or history.
• Work experience within water hygiene companies, chemical, domestic, plumbing or other.
• Understanding of Compliance parameters in keeping with HSG274 part 2, ACOP L8 or other legionella control measures.
• Advanced knowledge of complicated water systems (Hot and Cold)
• Great interpersonal skills – Friendly approachable manner, able to describe technical systems.
