Electrical Engineer          Newry  £25-30k

A new opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer looking to start their career in an established company with long-term projects in the Water Sector.

The successful candidate will be learning from senior members of staff gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle, involved in the design and procurement of equipment to installation and support.

You will be degree level educated in a relevant subject, ideally with a year in industry behind you, with a strong interest in progressing your career in a fast-paced environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work within a team of multi- disciplined engineers in the delivery of MEICA projects
  • Provide technical assistance to the wider team ensuring design and installations meet standards and comply with the quality policies
  • Have a good understanding or knowledge of drawings, project design and schematics
  • Observe the company’s Health & Safety policy requirements

Requirements

  • Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Exposure to the design and specification of in a variety of industry and project types, sizes and complexity
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Own transport and flexibility to travel to sites
