Essential duties revolve around the installation of mechanical and electrical components on machines and offices. Maintenance of machines and troubleshooting and repairs whenever there is a breakdown.

Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all equipment, components, and installations.

• Respond promptly to enquiries whenever there is a breakdown and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
• Ensure that equipment is in good working order to prevent disruption of activities.
• Install fresh mechanical and electrical components and fittings.
• Recommend replacement for old or faulty components or fittings to the management.
• Assist in forecasting requirements.
• Keep a record of all stock and supplies, including company equipment.
• Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process.
• Help the organisation to reduce energy costs.
• Ensure that all mechanical/electrical gadgets and instruments are switched off after
• close of work daily.
• Fix and maintain lighting fixtures and fittings.
• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and provide preventive maintenance services.
• Learn new skills and attend training programs to increase your knowledge of trends and
• best practices in the industry.
• Provide a safe working environment for staff members and prevent electricity-induced accidents and mishaps.
• Supervise maintenance works when new projects are undertaken.
• Supervise and/or support contractor control onsite.
• Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making necessary recommendations.
