My client in Norwich is looking for a Mechanical CAD Designer due to expansion.
The Vacancy
My client is a growing company and has over the last decade proven its self as a market leader in providing control & safety systems for specialist application areas. We are continually looking for people to be part of our growing and forward looking company. We are now looking for a Mechanical CAD Designer to join the Team Full-Time, based at our Hethel Engineering Centre in Hethel, Norwich, Norfolk, UK.

My client is a Norfolk-based specialist systems integrator supplying industrial control and safety solutions to its thriving business portfolio. My client operates across the energy, utilities and advanced engineering sectors with a mixture of operator, tier 1 and tier 2 clients based in the UK and abroad. Our services include engineering, design and consultancy, with the added benefit of offering full, turn-key packaged solutions with in-house system manufacturing and software development capabilities for a comprehensive range of control applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing GA layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches & diagrams
- Preparing detailed manufacturing drawings, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another and parts to the whole assembly
- Preparing design concepts for bid purposes
- Preparing electrical schematic drawings using 2D or Autocad electrical packages
- Preparing Mechanical Designs using 3D modelling software
