Double days rotating weekly

Monday to Friday plus 1 Saturday in a month

We are currently working with a well-established FMCG manufacturing company based in Welshpool who are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer into their skilled team. You will be joining an existing team of Engineers onsite and will be working on a range of manufacturing machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for reacting to breakdowns and working on both electrical and mechanical faults. This company are open to all levels of experience and offer fully funded training opportunities.

This role will require you to be flexible for occasional weekend work in peak periods, please apply for further information.

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Repairing and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment
• Carrying out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
• Responding to machine breakdowns
• Fault finding and diagnosing faults
• Supporting with the implementation of new plant equipment
• Working on continuous improvement projects
• Liaising with contractors when needed
• Working to health and safety regulations

Skills and Experience required:

• Must hold a relevant engineering discipline or apprentice trained
• Manufacturing industry experience would be beneficial
• PLC experience would be ideal but not essential
• Flexible to work weekends on occasion
• This role would suit a candidate who has previously worked as Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance Technician / Elec-bias Engineer / Apprentice Engineer / Junior Engineer / Junior Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Trainee
