Hours: 8am - 16:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 12:30pm on Friday
Salary: £30,000 + £1,500 joining bonus after 6 months service

Polytec are looking for a skilled Manual Welder to join our Bar Hill based client. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the production team and work predominantly on piping, hosing and valves as well as perform other fabrication and assembly tasks as required.
Responsibilities:
* TIG welding of a variety of tubes and piping
* Layout work according to engineering drawings, diagrams and fixtures
* Prepare materials to be welded including drilling and mating face preparation
* Inspect and maintain equipment needed for welding and fabricating
* Quality check welds to ensure they are clean and free of error
* Perform other fabrication and assembly work of manifolds as required
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a similar manufacturing environment
* Able to understand and follow engineering drawings accurately
* Good TIG welding skills
* Able to use a variety of different hand tools
* Knowledge of appropriate HandS procedures
* Previous experience working with extremely pliable materials
