                                               Agile Planner    (Remote working)

The role of the Agile Planner is part of the PPP support to the Digital Asset Management (DAM) programme within Sellafield. The PPP support to DAM is an integrated project team with members from PPP and Sellafield’s asset management capability.

The DAM programme is a site wide delivery improvement programme supporting Sellafield’s improvement requirements, the programme aims to address a number of issues with Sellafield’s asset management arrangements with a targeted outcome of: “An integrated information line of sight from the asset through to the enterprise that integrates activities across the asset lifecycle, removes the burden of paper-based work processes from our teams and engages everyone in the use of modern digital technologies to inform decision making”

Role Responsibilities of the Agile Planner :
The Agile Planner will be responsible for developing and implementing agile project plans, ensuring the successful execution of projects using agile methodology.    

Work closely with project teams, stakeholders and management to prioritise and plan project deliverables, identify risks and facilitate project implantation in an efficient and effective manner.

Agile Planner Specifics:  
Development of Agile Project Plans
Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to define project objectives, scope and deliverables
Identify user storied and tasks and break them down into manageable iterations or sprints
Define project timelines, milestones and release plans based on project scope and priorities
Develop and maintain a backlog of user stories, continuously refining and prioritising as needed
Ensure project plans align with the needs of the DAM project and programme
Agile methodology Implementation
Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure delivery of high-quality results within deadlines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any roadblocks or issues hindering project progress
Promote and enforce agile principles, practices and values among project team members
Risk and Issue Management, Communication and Collaboration 


Experience, Skills and Knowledge

Essential:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Proven experience as an Agile Project Planner in an Agile environment
In-depth knowledge of Agile methodology, frameworks and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
Sound knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of major civil and infrastructure projects including roads, bridges and utilities.
Experienced user of Primavera P6, and MS Office.
Excellent knowledge of CPM networks, resource and cost loading and risk management techniques.
Ability effectively monitor and analyse progress, identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
Report writing skills an advantage.

Strong customer focus.
Important: Hold or be capable of obtaining government clearance (SC/SL – Nuclear).

Office location:  Warrington / Cumbria, 2 / 3 days per week on site with travel to opposite site potentially once per month

Full time position

Term: Initial 12 month contract

Rate: £65.00 per day (Limited)
