A unique and very rare opportunity has been created for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a very niche, worldwide and successful MANUFACTURER of specialist products and services to support a number of service & maintenance contracts throughout the North East and Scotland on a full time permanent basis.

Our client takes great pride in offering the latest technology together with exemplary service and due to their continued growth they are looking to add to their service & commissioning team.

Job responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

• Provide service, maintenance and breakdown repair to a wide range of gas-fired appliances, renewable technologies and associated plant & equipment in relation to combustion and controls
• Commissioning of plant & equipment from new factory manufacture
• Carry out annual overhauls for insurance inspections 
• Provide technical support & advice to customer base

Essential requirements:

• Served recognised apprenticeship
• ACS Commercial Gas qualified
• Highly skilled in all aspects of servicing and repair work
• Electrical experience 
• Good problem-solving skills
• Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care combined with excellent communication skills 
• Full UK Drivers Licence 
• Willing to travel & work away from home
• Undergo relevant Disclosure/CRB checks
