Hyde Coatings Ltd is currently recruiting a Anodise Vac-Blast Operator based at one of our bespoke treatment facilities in Stalybridge. As a Anodise Vac-Blast Operator you will be responsible for the processing of various aerospace components through the Anodise section in preparation for treatments such as Masking and Paint. You will also be responsible for the processing of various aerospace components through the Vac-Blast section in preparation for treatments such as Anodise, Zinc spray and Paint operations to customer drawing requirements. All whilst maintaining the general cleanliness and safety within the building and supporting other areas of the business when required.

Duties include but are not limited to;

• Working to various Anodise, Alocrom and Alodine technique sheets

• Jigging, de-jigging and inspection work post process

• Paperwork including treatment details

• Organising work to increase process bar utilisation

• Communicating with other sections to ensure product life windows are adhered to.

• Assisting with basic process line maintenance

• Working to various Vac-Blast and Zinc Spray technique sheets

• Setting up blast cabinets to specific parameters including media changeovers

• Using measuring gauges on components

• Assisting with basic maintenance on cabinets

• Blasting with a variety of medias such as brown and white alumina, Plastic media blast and glass bead.

Essential Skills;

• Keen eye for detail

• Must be able to work within a team or as an individual.

Experience required;

• Some experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

• Previous blasting experience would be beneficial.
