Job Title: Production Operative

Salary: £22,000 + 12.5% shift premium = £24,750 per annum + Overtime 

Contract type: Permanent

Shifts: 0600 - 1400 & 1400 - 2200, rotating, Monday to Friday 

Location: Swindon

Our client, a global manufacturer, are looking to add a Production Operative on a permanent contract to their growing and expanding production facility based in Swindon, Wilts.

This position will include working closely with various internal teams, such as the Technical Department, The Quality Control department and Production. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Accurately complete batch documentation
• Ensure equipment functions efficiently and procedures work correctly
• Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing
• Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation
• Provide assistance to other operators where required
• Maintain work area in a clean, organised and safe manner
• Process the manufacture of product ensuring Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Conduct other tasks as required by line manager

• The role includes heavy lifting
• Successful appointment of the role will include satisfactory results in a colour assessment test
