£35,000 - £37,000/annum VAN+DOOR TO DOOR+O/T+PRIVATE HEALTH

Service Engineer / Commercial Gas Engineer - OTE £45,000 - £55,000

£35,000 - £37,000 basic depending on experience + Door to Door travel paid from home to site + Overtime at time and a half then double time + Company van (can also be used for personal use) + Fuel Card + Mobile + Private Health Scheme + Holiday Pay average of previous 3 months earnings + 23 days holidays and all stats + Pension + Sick Pay + Uniform + Tools + Kit

Permanent - Monday – Friday (40-hour week)

My client is a highly successful spraybooth manufacturing and design company. They deliver fantastic performance, efficiency and highly innovative spraybooth solutions across a wide range of industries such as; aerospace, automotive, commercial, industrial and manufacturing.

Due to their continued success and expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join their dynamic team and their expanding business.

There is also excellent career progression based on performance.

Role

  • Working as a commercial gas service engineer travelling to various customers and carrying out routine servicing and repairs where necessary on different Spraybooth machines
  • Completing filter changes, working on compressors and pipework
  • Attending break down repairs on a wide range of spraybooth units
  • Working on a variety of Commercial burners and completing various commercial gas engineer works
  • Completing fault finding/diagnosis on equipment
  • Completing electrical and mechanical duties on the various spraybooth units
  • Ensuring at all times that you are working within full compliance of all relevant legislations
  • Customer facing and relationship building on site
  • Ensuring all activities are carried out in a safe and environmentally aware manner

Requirements

  • Worked as a commercial gas service engineer previously
  • A good level of fitness and the ability to work at heights
  • Must have full driving licence
  • Must be Gas Safe Registered ideally with CoNGLP1 PD COCN 1 CIGA 1 CDGA 1 accreditations and direct / indirect commercial gas burner experience
  • Pipe work experience a distinct advantage
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering background
  • Experience on 3 phase / single phase electrics essential - (PLC’s / Motor Controls inverters etc a distinct advantage)
  • A Self-motivated and innovative individual required
  • Ability to use initiative and excellent customer liaison skills required
  • Be able to plan, organise and manage your workload
  • Excellent communication skills
