£33,000 - £35,000/annum

The Role Includes

  • Undertaking structured review of skills and performance across all technicians disciplines.
  • Continual review and audit of technicians working practices, ethics, customer skills and communication.
  • Preparation of individual training plans based on development needs.
  • Developing a robust programme of Toolbox Talks & Lessons Learned.
  • Regular site based audits within a defined region.
  • PPE, plant, equipment, vehicle, & stock checks.
  • HSQE audits to include training and understanding of RAMS and safe working practices.
  • Maintaining and enhancing communication across multiple office locations.
  • General regional office based assistance where required.
  • General estimating assistance where required.
  • Technical support with customer / site escalations.
  • Attending training sessions and then cascading content to technicians (Train the Trainer qualification beneficial).
  • Research, review and propose any other training that could add value to the team. • Review of technicians performance and focus areas.
  • IT support / training relating to tablet PC applications, mobile solutions and customer interfaces.
  • 1st level escalation responsibility for out of hours on-call activity on a rota basis (UK nationwide).

Your Profile 

  • Significant experience as an Automatic Door Technician
  • A full UK driving licence with flexibility to working hours due to requirement to travel. Ideally based within 1 hour of the Newcastle office.
  • Experience in training, supporting and mentoring technicians.
  • Positive, professional attitude with the ability to understand and disseminate technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work without supervision and use initiative at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills
