LV Project Engineer
We’re working in partnership with one of the largest, and fastest growing MEICA contractors in the UK. They’ve had a significant increase in orders for LV MCCs, Assemblies and Control Panels and are looking to bring in a Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Project Engineer to help deliver their electrical projects.
They’re a full design and build contractor, so you’ll be involved from the early enquiry stages, through to design, installation and commissioning before signing off. Their panels go to some of the largest projects in the UK (Think delivering MCCs and Pumping Stations to projects worth upwards of £1bn).
So, what does an LV Project Engineer do?
The role is somewhere between a Project Manager and a Lead Engineer, you’ll mainly be accountable for:
- To co-ordinate the efforts of other disciplines in delivering projects
- To co-ordinate design activities and documentation of other disciplines
- To mentor LV Design Engineers and assist in the development of their skills and capabilities.
- To support LV Design Engineers in the development of their skills and capabilities.
- To provide technical assistance and guidance on projects both pre and post sales.
