Maintenance Plumber

We are recruiting for a commercial maintenance plumber to cover PPM and reactive maintenance within a commercial building. The plumber will be responsible for all repairs and upkeep to the water and mechanical services on commercial facilities across the building, plus small works refurbishments etc.

Large OTE opportunities basic circa 38 - 40k (plus with OTE potential)

40 hours per week

Call out rota 1/8

Plenty of overtime available paid at premium

Plumber Description:

Completing reactive repairs, planned maintenance and small works projects. To cover the following plant:

Hot and cold water feeds

Pumps and valves

Non-Gas Boiler work

Radiators and heating

Drainage

Bathroom / toilet pipework and water services

Mechanical plant room

Leak repair

Water heaters and cylinders

Water Tank

L8 prevention and thermostatic mixer valves

Plus other associated tasks

Plumber Requirements:

Candidates will be time served and have as a minimum City and Guilds in Plumbing / Mech Engineering

Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills.

It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a “Can do” customer attitude at all times.

Ability and desire to complete general fabric maintenance tasks

Mechanically skilled engineer with a knowledge of Building services (water, heating, ventilation and waste)

The maintenance plumber must be prepared to undertake training as required by the post and the contract manager.

Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner, adhering to relevant guidelines and bulletins.
