Service / Support Engineer with experience of servicing and repair or technical support of instrumentation (ATE Ideally) required for growing manufacturing business. Experience of electro-mechanical and electronic engineering with some software integration. The role will be site and field based although site based whilst on product training which will be extensive to provide a thorough knowledge of products through manufacturing and systems testing. In-house and on-site calibration, diagnosis, repair and any application software issues.
We are seeking an experience Engineer from a service engineering or a technical support engineering backrground who is eager to learn new products and skills with an engineering qualification in electronic engineering/electrical engineering and ideally have Knowledge of National Instruments systems.
- Factory and Field based servicing
- Repair and calibration activities
- Fault finding and diagnosing complex system to component level
- Electro-mechanical
- Electronics
- PCB repair benefitial
- Experience of instrumentation control systems such as. LXI, GPIB, Labview / Teststand
- Eager to learn
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Able to travel at short notice
- Security check will be required
