Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Exeter
Hours: 8 hour shifts (36 hours a week)
Shift pattern works- 5 earlys - 4 off, – 5 nights - 4 off, - 5 lates – 2 off.
Role
There is an excellent opportunity available currently for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a multinational facilities maintenance company as a part of 2 man engineering team.
The company are a major provider of facilities maintenance across a variety of sectors. They have a number of large contracts with public sector, retail and commercial clients.
You will be required to cover sites in Exeter
Shift pattern works- 5 earlys - 4 off, – 5 nights - 4 off, - 5 lates – 2 off
Early shift – 5:30am – 2:30pm
Late Shift – 1:30pm -10:30pm
Night Shift – 9:30pm – 6:30am
Salary - 38K

Training & Progression
Role:
- To work as part of a team of electrical engineers undertaking electrical maintenance, installation, testing and inspection
- Carry out PPM and reactive work and be willing to be on a call out rota
- Emergency lighting testing, UPS, Simtronic lighting, Fire alarms test , 3 phase motors, generators, circuit boards
- Manage time effectively to ensure tasks are handled accurately and on time ensuring a high standard of work to the client.
- Be a team player with good communication skills.
- Overcome challenging situations.
Qualifications or Required Experience:
- Relevant electrical qualifications or equivalent (18th Edition, NVQ3 AM2, City & Guilds 236 Part 1&2).
- A minimum of five years’ qualified experience delivering electrical works.
