Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for experienced LGV Technicians / Mechanics for our client based in Nottingham. 

37 hours per week, NO weekends. 

•    To maintain, inspect, repair and test Class 4, 5 (light) and 7 vehicles for both internal and external customers
•    Carry out fault diagnosis on complex hydraulic and electrical systems. 
•    Use diagnostics equipment and Autodata to quickly diagnose and fix faults.
•    To attend broken down or accident damaged vehicles and effect permanent or running repairs as required.
•    To carry out class 4 and 7 MOT inspections.
•    To ensure that all Health and Safety policies, practices and procedures in respect of the workshop environment are adhered to and ensure that all work areas are kept in a safe and clean condition.
•    To attend training courses 

A qualification in City & Guilds level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles, or equivalent is essential for this role. 

Hours of work (weekly rotation). 
07:00 – 15:00 Monday - Thursday, 14:30 Friday. 
09:00 – 17:00 Monday – Thursday, 16:30 Friday. 

Overtime is available and is paid at Time and one half after the first 5 hours. 

Salary: 
•    Year 1 – £34250 
•    Year 2 – £36250
