Overview

A mid-size Electrical Contractor based in Surrey are looking for an Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee small-works projects and maintenance within the commercial and leisure sector from inception through to completion. An office-based role it will suit an electrically-qualified manager comfortable working within an office environment and able to offer their technical expertees to the site-based staff.

As a business they are currently enjoying a period of growth and as a result need someone to come in and take some of the pressure off the senior management team.

They work broadly within the commercial sector, and are looking for someone who has worked their way up from the tools with project management and estimating experience.

The role will be a combination of both onsite and office-based working.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Run projects from through to completion
• Conducting small works surveys and estimating
• Attend meetings with clients and senior management
• Manage Health & Safety
• Manage commercial side of the project
• Site-Based & Office-Based

Person Specification

• Relevant Electrical Qualifications
• Ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team
• Ability to manage & influence a team and show strong leadership skills
• A strong understanding of health and safety in construction
• Appreciation of data and documentation integrity
