Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Posted 10/04/2024 by Fidus Recruitment Ltd

Location:
Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary/Rate:
£49,000 - £51,500/annum

Are you looking for a new challenge that will give you the autonomy to make changes and get involved with project work?

You will be working for a manufacturing company based in East Northamptonshire. Also, a positive with the role is that you will also have the opportunity to work alongside the project team on machine upgrades. So experience of this would put you in good stead.

You will be working on a panama shift rotation which switches fortnightly with days and nights. The already established engineering team is very strong, you will need to be able to adapt quickly and be able to work on your own at times.

As a multi-skilled Engineer, you would be working on reactive breakdowns and planned scheduled maintenance. You will be required to diagnose electrical faults, so this is something that we are looking for. Also, if you have experience in project work, then you will be pleased to hear, that there are several projects scheduled for new automated machinery to be installed, and you could play a key part in commissioning this.

If you are looking for a company that will allow you to progress or provide a clear direction of what is required to progress, then this is a great opportunity for you.

What experience do you need? – because of the fast-paced nature of the product, your experience in food manufacturing/FMCG is essential. You would also require to be apprentice trained in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with a good understanding of each discipline.

If you are keen to find out more then please get in touch with Wayne Hobbs.
