Our Client is one of the largest turnkey Engineering & Construction contractors in the Oil and Gas sector with a proven track-record over many years, and increasingly growing towards the Renewable Energy Sector as well. With a strong bias towards remote areas and challenging deep-water locations, it is a leader in the supply of engineering, procurement, project management and construction services.

They are currently recruiting for looking for high calibre graduates, ideally with some work experience, coupled with a degree qualification in Structural/Civil engineering. 

You will receive great training and development to progress to a Senior Engineer in the future and become chartered in your field. 

Responsibilities: 

  •  Performance of structural analysis and design tasks and preparation of analysis documents as part of training under supervision.
  • Undertaking preliminary and/or conceptual structural analysis and special studies for tenders / capability and innovative concept assessment as part of training under supervision.
  • Maintaining records in accordance with Department procedures and compiling and checking reports
  • Reviewing and checking project drawings for steel structures. - To become familiar with and to maintain awareness of the clients current requirements and where applicable, the latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations.
  • To ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with our clients policy on health, safety, quality and environmental matters in accordance with the clients specific procedures.
  • To be trained on structural analysis and design packages such as GT STRUDL, STAAD. 

Whilst the role will predominantly be London based, we require flexibility to undertake work in other offices and offshore sites at appropriate times.
