We are looking for a Systems Engineer to design technology systems for our Virtual Production stages. You will be responsible for designing systems from scratch and providing support and tasking to the AV technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy technology systems for virtual production stages, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to client specifications.
  • Task AV Technicians who are deployed on projects, to ensure plans are well executed and technology is running correctly and reliably.
  • Configure and calibrate specialized software and technology, LED screens and ceiling panels, lighting and fixtures.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during stage setup, implementing solutions such as fixing issues within software or hardware, or optimizing workflows to ensure the smooth running of stages.
  • Provide technical support and training to technicians, serving as a resource for best practices and processes.
  • Liaise with procurement coordinator to order bill-of-materials required for projects. 

Requirements

  • Demonstrated senior experience as a Systems Engineer within the audio-visual industry.
  • Knowledge of LED walls and virtual production stages would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work with audio, video, and lighting systems, including LED screens and moving light fixtures.
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing projects while effectively communicating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime for hardware and software problems during production.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with effective communication and collaboration abilities, essential for working with diverse teams and stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
  • Open to short term domestic and international travel on a project-by-project basis.
