About the role:

As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a lead role in tackling NOVA’s challenges through innovative solutions, while also transforming our delivery processes and ensuring high-quality standards. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Product, two other Salesforce developers, the engineering team, and people from right across the organisation. Together, we are embarking on an exciting journey to revolutionise the financial advice industry, and your contributions will be essential to our success.

We extensively utilise Salesforce as our CRM, encompassing Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud, as well as employing it as our operational workflow platform. We have developed numerous bespoke applications within the Salesforce environment and aspire to explore further possibilities. Additionally, we use Pardot for marketing automation and leverage Heroku for building products that seamlessly integrate with Salesforce or third-party systems. As a company driven by ambitious plans fuelled by technology, we anticipate expanding our utilisation of Salesforce into more intricate and technically demanding areas, requiring a heightened level of assurance in our delivery. Your expertise will be invaluable in achieving these goals.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business processes, translating them into technical solutions on the Salesforce platform
  • Developing and maintaining Lightning web components, Apex classes and triggers, plus a few Aura components and Visualforce email templates and pages
  • Designing and implementing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform, supporting business applications like Docusign, and via inbound and outbound integration with out other tools
  • Performing data migrations and managing data quality
  • Driving the improvement of our testing and DevOps processes
  • Build by and enforce best practices and maintain technical documentation
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues

Requirements

Who we're looking for:

  • A first-rate Salesforce Certified App Builder & Certified Platform Developer I and II
  • An engaging and proactive individual who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • A leader who can drive their own success and that of the team around them
  • A savvy Salesforce Developer with a passion for technology and staying up-to-date with the latest Salesforce developments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Great attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality and secure solutions

In addition to the requirements outlined above, the perfect candidate would ideally be certified as a JavaScript Developer and a Certified OmniStudio Developer (as we're adopting OmniStudio). However, it's important to note that these certifications are not mandatory.
