About the role:

At the moment, Skin Analytics is going through an exciting growth phase with health partnerships in the NHS and private sector. We are looking for a full stack developer to help us deliver our high end service. We want someone who understands technology and is passionate about helping us to create the best platform to deliver our healthcare service.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of your own work through the software development lifecycle. Analyse, plan, design, implement, test, deploy, monitor
  • Follow the team’s guidelines and deliver high quality software
  • Being open at working with others. You might need to provide/receive guidance, pair program, provide feedback or opinion on subjects, advise or being advised by other team members
  • Being able to work as a part of a team with the ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
  • Effectively demo your own work to others, members of the team and to the wider company
  • Awareness of the sensitive nature of our data and following our data protection guidelines
  • Being fully aware of and our ways of working within our regulatory standards (ISO 13485, ISO 27001)

Requirements

Experience in stack:

  • Frontend: React Native, React
  • Backend: Node, JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Databases: MySQL
  • Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, SNS/SQS, RDS, ES), Linux
  • Docker

General technical skills:

  • Experience of managing apps via the App and Play Stores
  • Experience of working with Jira, BitBucket and Git
  • Experience in working within a regulated SDLC process (optional but advantageous)
  • Experience in working in MedTech, including ISO 62304 (optional but advantageous)

Skin Analytics manufactures medical devices and complies with ISO standards 13485 and 27001. As part of your employment, you will be assigned Quality Management System (QMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS). We require that our employees agree to complete their assigned training and diligently follow all company quality management and information security processes.​​
