Houseful and RVU (home of Zoopla, Confused.com, Uswitch, and Hometrack, TempCover, Mojo to name a few…) is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our Digital Workplace Team.


This is a Hybrid-based role with 2/3 days per week in our Cardiff office with some travel to the other offices in Fleet and London.

You will be exposed to a fantastic range of technologies as you support our in-house staff face-to-face and remote teams across our Group of companies. To succeed in this role, you will already have experience supporting Google Workspace and Office365 (yes..We use both) and Windows and MacOS operating systems.

You will be working with users of all seniority levels at ease (including VIP IT Support), keeping them well-informed through the support process, so clear communication is a key aspect of this role.

You will work in a centralised IT team that provides support to the broader business, giving you direct access to highly experienced Engineers and subject matter experts, so you can be confident in the knowledge that you will always have, the help and advice you need to grow and deliver the best experience for end users.

This is a specific IT role in a very rewarding fast-moving environment; you will need to build strong relationships across the businesses and be willing to use your initiative whilst working with the team to deliver to deadlines. 

There will be training to ensure we are all at the same level of understanding and speak the same techy language.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve support tickets via the ITSM ticket system according to the established SLAs.
  • Serve as an escalation point for support issues across the Group
  • Assist with design and implementation projects to improve our systems and processes, such as:
  •  Maintained the company's IT hardware asset register, monitoring and ordering stock
  • New Joiners, Movers, and Leavers (Hardware and Software)
  • Training initiatives for employees as part of onboarding and continued technology education
  • Support Company-wide software applications: Google Workspace, O365, Slack, Zoom, Jira, and Notion, to name a few. Work and collaborate in a global team distributed across multiple locations
  • Provide face-to-face Leadership support

Mandatory/Essential Skills:

  • An interest in supporting both Windows and Mac devices.
  • A Good  understanding of Windows 10/11 and OS operating systems 
  • Good experience supporting Google Workspace 
  • Some Experience creating users and managing groups in AzureAD
  • Some Experience in managing Windows and Mac computers with Intune
  • Good  Knowledge of Apple and PC hardware break-fix
  • The ability to Juggle multiple requests at one time
