At Hometrack, our Data Services product team is looking for an experienced software engineer, to help us bring new products to market by solving interesting technical problems and delivering high quality cloud-native solutions.

Our customers use our services to make decisions, or to enable their consumers to make decisions. And few decisions are as important as someone’s home. Here at Hometrack, we are building the tools to make those decisions easier to make.

We need a passionate engineer to help build our new Data Hub. This is the future of our Data Services product set and is a data discovery interface, leveraging unique data assets and models to serve customers at every stage of the property lifecycle.

What we’re looking for in Hometrack Engineers:

  • You write maintainable, testable code and enjoy providing code reviews 
  • You have experience in React or another front-end framework
  • You are passionate about building products for customers, while also paying attention to building products that are stable, scalable, secure, observable, and performant.
  • You have experience helping your team make good technical decisions to enable commercial goals
  • You have worked with some type of cloud tech such as AWS
  • You enjoy collaborating closely with colleagues in Commercial and Data
  • You are accountable for performance, playing your part in achieving team goals and ensuring your contribution positively impacts overall success.

The technology we use:

This isn’t a list of things you need to have experience with, but we want you to know how we build things today

  • Python (especially PySpark)
  • TypeScript
  • AWS using Terraform
  • Databricks for data processing
  • React (with components from Figma, and deployed using our design system)
  • CI/CD using Github Actions
