Join our dynamic on-site team and contribute to the success of one of the world's leading logistics companies. We are seeking an experienced Site Technician / Electrician to play a crucial role in our DHL Heathrow Maintenance Support Team at Heathrow Airport.

As a team member, you'll be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the optimal performance of our cutting-edge systems.

Key Responsibilities:

 As a Site Technician/Multi-skilled engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing electrical and mechanical tasks, including different types of conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes and belts, in planned and reactive environments.
  • Identifying problematic faults, rectifying issues, and monitoring system performance continuously.
  • Conducting systems analysis on various systems, including S7 PLC, Profibus and communication networks.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to complete PPM schedules within agreed timescales.
  • Executing mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance tasks in a busy automated logistics hub.
  • Providing support for project and facility management work.
  • Articulating detailed reports and supporting existing on-site colleagues.
  • Monitoring and implementing continuous improvement measures in response to customer requests.
  • Collaborating within a team and being comfortable working independently. Ensuring customer operational continuity by preventing equipment failures.
  • Be able to fault find electrically and read electrical drawings
  • Adherence to H&S & knowledge of LOTO
