Purpose
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Technician to join the Safety team based at UTAC Millbrook. The successful role holder will be responsible for preparing vehicles for crash or sled tests, recording data during the test and removing equipment after the test has been completed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare rigs for safety system tests to customer requirements
- Mechanical fitting of test fixtures
- Set up high speed cameras for test filming to customer requirements
- Set up computer controlled data acquisition systems
- Collect and download data during tests
- Setting crash dummies to customer requirements
- Liaise with UTAC Engineer
- Work from procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Act in accordance with the behaviours for UTAC staff at all times
