The role of the DevOps Engineer is key to maintaining, upgrading and managing our developer environments, internal infrastructure, networks and our customer-centric SaaS platforms. You will use your resourcefulness to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently whilst diagnosing and resolving problems quickly and diligently. You will work with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users, both internal and external, so patience and communication are key.

Requirements

* Experience with managing or working closely with the team involved with managing and maintaining a CI/CD platform for a wider team of developers. At Suade, we use GitLab and our primary developemnt languages are Python, Rust and Javascript.

* Experience installing and configuring infrastructure and systems administration. We primarily use AWS.

* Good knowledge of networking, security, monitoring, upgrades, access control, backups and troubleshooting in these areas.

* Familiarity with shell scripting (and when to use them)

* An unsatiable curiosity in new and foreign technologies to continuously learn and improve your skills.

* We would expect the eligible candidate to have at least 2+ years with the above although we are open to consider candidates who can demonstrate they have the knowledge, if not the experience.
