️ Ventilation Senior Engineer
Contract (INSIDE IR35) or Permanent
The Ventilation Senior Engineer will be directed by the Principal Engineer and will be required to support the design through the end of Preliminary Design and then into Define .
The Ventilation Senior Engineer is required to deliver the ventilation and building services work scope ️, including the production and checking of design deliverables ✅, reporting directly to a Principal Engineer.
The role will involve guiding Designers ♂️ in the production of:
Detailed drawings
Sub-assemblies
General Arrangements (GAs) ️
Layout drawings
Flow diagrams
Parts lists
The Ventilation Senior Engineer may also be required to produce calculations ➗ to verify detail design and provide design substantiation .
Responsibilities will include the production and compilation of technical documentation such as:
Technical specifications
Risk Assessments (RA’s) ⚠️
Installation methodology documents ️
O&M manuals
The Ventilation Senior Engineer will work closely with the multidisciplinary design team and plant-based teams .
The role will support design activities across multiple work packs that impact ventilation conditions within an Alpha Plant ⚛️.
The Ventilation Senior Engineer will also be required to carry out ventilation assessments ️ to support viable options for improving containment systems .
Competent use of 3D modelling packages is essential to share design progress during technical and project meetings .
