DevOps Engineer

We need someone who can balance technical excellence with pragmatic execution, ensuring our product evolves while meeting the demands of today’s challenges. We embrace an Agile way of working, but we know success also requires grit, ownership, and a willingness to step beyond conventional roles.
Specifically, you will play a role in deploying, monitoring and supporting the infrastructure for our product line using modern software development and DevSecOps practices. There will be opportunities to learn as well as using your own experience to influence the team and platform.
What you'll be doing...

Manage and orchestrate containers using Docker and Kubernetes
Design and maintain a queue-based processing pipeline using RabbitMQ and AWS SQS for message and email queuing.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for system health and performance.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform
Work with development teams to streamline CI/CD processes.
Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analyses, and ensure system reliability and uptime.
Ensure secure cloud operations, managing access controls and best practices.
Optimize cost, scalability, and performance of deployed resources.
What you'll be working with…

What we're looking for...
Significant commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Ability to take ownership of projects from design to implementation

Experience securing cloud infrastructure and network security methods and techniques
Proactive: You don’t wait for direction; you identify what needs to be done and take action.
Resilient: Challenges don’t deter you—they energise you.
A Driver: You’re not just a contributor—you push the product and team forward with determination and a solutions-first mindset.
