£65,000 - £75,000/annum + Car allowance + Package

Client: With a portfolio of projects in the UK, my client is recognised as a market leading building services contractor. They are renowned for large fit out and new build projects in commercial office, data centre and public sectors. Clients include major law and financial companies, as well as large blue chip main contractors. After a successful year they are now looking to increase turnover to £300M.

Role: Mechanical Construction Manager

The successful candidate will report into a project manager and will be responsible for assisting with the management of projects from £10m - £50m Mechanical value.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Management of subcontractor labour
  • Attend site meetings
  • Progress reports
  • Prepare contract documents I.e. method statements, risk assessments, RFI’s, etc.
  • Health and safety
  • Review and amend RAMS
  • Red pen design reviews
  • Snagging
  • Work with the Project Manager to manage the commissioning process and handover of the project

The ideal candidate:

  • Will be familiar working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in the Commercial New Build, Healthcare or Life Sciences sectors
  • Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted with Tier 1 main contractors.
  • Have good technical knowledge of Mechanical services.
  • Experience working in the building services, facilities management or construction sector
