CNC Estimator

We are looking to recruit on behalf of our client, an experienced CNC Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Duties will include:
- Interpret customer requirements from drawings, specifications and models.
- Define process routing and estimate set-up & cycle times.
- Obtain prices for any external processes and materials.
- Create quotations for clients within target response time using the company’s software system.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers.
- Liaise with our engineers regarding tooling, fixtures and scheduling.
- Ordering of materials, special tools and gauges.
Person Specification:
- Methodical and organised
- Excellent communication skills – both written & verbal
- Computer literate
- Good eye for detail
- Must be experienced in the reading of drawings in an engineering environment.
- Work well under pressure and to deadlines.
