Job Role: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Southam
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday - 7.00am to 5.15pm
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

The Company:
A well-established East Midlands business providing engineering solutions through design and manufacturing of products for the Automotive and Industrial Sector.
Manufacturing Engineer Role:
- Program Mazak machines for a variety of components across different machine platforms.
- Utilize CAD software to develop CNC programs for R&D prototypes, first-off production, and process optimization.
- Be actively involved in R&D, NPI (New Product Introduction).
- Conduct cost-down analysis and develop project plans aimed at reducing prime costs.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and drive NPI projects to the shop floor.
- Identify waste within processes and develop strategies to reduce it, driving continuous improvement.
The Candidate:
- Strong collaboration skills, particularly in working with quality and production teams.
- Experience with Solidworks / Fusion / Hypermill.
- Previous experience in a Manufacturing / Production / NPI Engineer position or similar.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues in real-time.
- Strong documentation skills to support manufacturing and quality processes.
- Ability to provide training for internal and external personnel as needed.
