Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Electrical Technician looking for a new career opportunity? Our client, a reputable manufacturer based Manchester, is seeking a talented individual to become an essential part of their dynamic team.

Job Details:

• Ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance duties are carried out across the site.
• Work on ways to implement improvements to prevent waste.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to co-ordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
• Liaise with the Engineering Team Manager for workload planning and technical support.
• Participate in the planning and execution of minor and major shutdowns. Provide technical and hands on support as required during shutdowns.
• Able to organise and supervise various contractors as required at the site.
• Investigate and resolve equipment failures, determine root cause of failure, and recommend appropriate solutions to reduce re-occurrence of/or eliminate cause of failure.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years experience within Manufacturing
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (essential)
• 17th / 18th Edition
• SAP experience (desirable but not essential)
• Electrical experience in an ATEX Zone (desirable but not essential)
• CompEX (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06) qualification (desirable but not essential)

• Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm / 10:00am – 6:00pm weekly rotation.
