We are pleased to be working with a well established UK wide civil structural consultancy to recruit a civil engineer to join a growing Manchester office offering the opportunity to contribute in the design of a range of medium and large-scale projects and engage with a diverse portfolio of clients.

As a Civil Design Engineer you will join a small and growing positive team with established and growing North West business, with the opportunity to help build the Manchester office and get involved in all aspects of projects both technical and project management, and opportunity to advance and progress your career. The role offers hybrid working 2 or 3 days a week from home.

About you and the role

  • As a civil design engineer you will have 3 years or more experience in civils design
  • Good working knowledge of softwares such as Civil 3D, Microdrainage, Causeway Flow
  • An understanding of drainage design, SUDS, highways, cut and fill analysis desirable
  • Opportunity to get involved in both technical and project management.
  • Ideally an understanding of some of section 38, 278 (Highways Act) and.or section 104, 106 and 185 (Water industry Act) agreements
  • Ideally experience in drainage (foul and surface) and roadway design
