Manufacturing Production Engineer required. Our client is well-established manufacturer of electro-mechanical products for the automotive industry based in Great Barr, Birmingham.

Due to continued success, they are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Production Engineer to join the team and take responsibility for production processes, continuous improvements and lean manufacturing.

• Identifying manufacturing requirements for new products and assisting the NPI process
• Producing shop floor layout drawings
• Producing standard work / method instructions for manufacturing
• Visiting and liaising with suppliers and clients
• Designing new systems and processes
• Oversee the installation of new machinery
• Ensuring compliance to health and safety and environmental procedures
• Providing quality assurance support in accordance with ISO 14001 and IATF 16949

• 6+ years of experience within a Manufacturing, Process, Lean or QA Engineering related role
• Based in a commutable distance of Great Barr, Birmingham
• Experience with 3D modelling software, ideally Solidworks
• Degree qualified or similar within an engineering related subject
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and electrical / electronic assemblies

• Starting salary £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
• Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30. Friday 08:00 - 13:00. 37 hour working week.
• 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
