The role: Efficient, effective repair and maintenance of plant, equipment and machinery.

Working hours: This is working 4 on 4 off covering 2 days & 2 nights, 12 hour shifts.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance to maximise overall machine efficiency.
  • Effectively prioritise workload to maintain plant and equipment to a high standard.
  • Ensure consistency in quality of work across the various lines.
  • To actively and analytically fault find.
  • Contribute to implementing new working methods and actively take part in continuous improvement.
  • Ensure smooth changeovers/handovers between shifts.
  • To understand company performance measurements
  • Any other duties that can be reasonably expected.

The person:

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering experience (recognised Apprenticeship)
  • Previous experience in Industrial Maintenance is beneficial
  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and multi-task
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable to work both days and nights
