I have been retained by a national engineering consultancy who are looking to bolster their geotechnical team due to an increased workload. They are looking for a geotecnical engineer between engineer - principal level. This engineer will hold a key position on the team and be responsible for mentoring/developing junior members of staff, developing/expanding the existing client base and helping to manage the geotechnical workload across the South 

You will need and understanding in the assessment and detailed design of: 

• Foundation solutions (e.g., deep foundations, rafts, piled rafts, etc.).
• Soil-structure interaction.
• Deep excavations.
• Retaining wall design and construction.
• Earthworks.

You will competence in the use of the following software packages.

• MS Office.
• Slope/W or equivalents.
• Oasys XDisp.
• Plaxis 2D/3D.
• WallAP or equivalent.
• Settle 3D
