We are a small, growing Structural & Civil Engineering company based in Greater Manchester that is looking for an enthusiastic engineer who is willing to learn - working on a wide range of projects, with the opportunity for progression internally.  

We offer a wealth of experience with over 40 years in the industry, and a great opportunity to learn and grow as an Engineer. You will receive mentorship to help achieve chartered status and membership of IStructE.

You will be reporting to the Directors and working with our other engineers

Requirements:

• Various roles available depending on experience from graduate to senior engineer
• Bachelor or masters degree in structural/civil engineering
• Experience in steel, timber, masonry, concrete & foundations
• Good knowledge of domestic & commercial building construction
• Liaise with all members of the design team including architects
• Working towards chartership IStructE/ICE
• Full UK drivers licence desirable
• Willing to work in a small office environment

Skills:

• Good communication skills and team player
• Fluent in Microsoft Office 365
• Experience in Tekla Tedds and Structural Designer (TSD), Masterseries etc would be advantageous
• Produce structural drawings using AutoCAD to a high standard
• Experience in the use of the common structural BS and Eurocodes
• Prepare high quality structural design calculations
• Report writing experience - not required but would be advantageous
