Electronic Engineer | £35 - 45k |Thatcham |Hybrid
My client is a leading scientific instrumentation company in their niche providing high precision instruments for clients from governments to small research companies.
Due to sustained growth, they’re looking for an Electronic Engineer who has a passion for engineering and enjoys designing & building their own personal projects.
Main duties:
+ Writing, testing and debugging embedded software
+ Designing electronic circuits and PCBs
+ Developing in-house electronic and software solutions for testing and analysing instrumentation in the manufacturing process
Skills and Experience Required:
+ Degree in Electronic/Computer/Mechanical Engineering, or Physics
+ Hands on experience of embedded systems (Arduino, ARM, Raspberry Pi)
+ Experience or knowledge of electronic circuit & schematic design
+ Completed own personal projects from concept to implementation, and ability to talk about them in depth
Bonus:
+ Knowledge of embedded C/C++, and Qt development in both Windows & Linux
+ Enthusiasm for engineering that spans multiple disciplines
