A permanent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Switchgear & Controls Workshop Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career at an ambitious company that is experiencing rapid growth in global critical infrastructure markets.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the production and assembly of Switchgear and Control Panels
- Oversee day to day operations, assign tasks and manage workflow
- Working closely with the design team to ensure compliance and project specifications
- Providing leadership to the workshop team and ensuring safety standards are upheld
- Assembly of Electrical Switchgear and associated Electromechanical equipment/systems to engineering drawings and production timescales
- Overseeing the testing of switchgear, control panels, and busbar systems, troubleshooting issues found
Desired Criteria:
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience in the field of switchgear or electrical equipment
- A strong work ethic and keen attention to detail are essential
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
- Flexible approach to work, willingness to learn and be part of a team
