Maintenance Engineer

Annual Salary: £40000
Weekly Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am to 5.30pm (FRIDAYS OFF!!)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine mechanical and electrical maintenance across the facility.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in machinery and equipment.
- Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and ensure that all systems and machinery are operating at optimal performance.
- Work on CNC Machines, pneumatics, electrical equipment
- Identify and implement improvements in maintenance procedures to reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide rapid breakdown response to ensure minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and support production activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
Requirements:
- Relevant certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
- 17th/ 18th edition
